Game Night: Yatzee

Roll the dice and join us for a thrilling evening of Yatzee! This classic game of chance and strategy invites players to score points by rolling combinations like full houses, straights, and the coveted Yatzee. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, you’ll enjoy the excitement of each roll and the challenge of maximizing your score.

This gathering is all about having a good time, whether you’re aiming for the win, just looking for a few laughs, or would rather simply watch the game unfold. Everyone’s welcome, and indeed, the more the merrier.

Instructions

Press Roll to roll the dice, click the dice you want to select (to keep or to play). You can roll up to two more times now, selecting new dice. Click the square on the scorecard that represents your hand to end your turn, but if no available square fits you’ll have to sacrifice one and take the zero.

The Upper Section

• Numbered Dice: Select all dice that match the one numbered and earn the sum of their values.
• Bonus 63+: Automatic 35 points for scoring a sum of at least 63 from the numbered dice.

The Lower Section

• Three of a Kind: Select three matching dice to earn the sum of their values.
• Four of a Kind: Select four matching dice to earn the sum of their values.
• Full House: Select three of a kind as well as a matching pair to earn 25 points.
• Small Straight: Select four consecutive numbers (e.g., 1-2-3-4 or 2-3-4-5) for 30 points.
• Large Straight: Select five consecutive numbers (e.g., 1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6) for 40 points.
• Yahtzee: Select five of a kind for 50 points.
• Chance: Select anything for the sum of their totals.
